The Nassau Data Centre is located on the Cable Bahamas campus, which provides security, redundant power and a reliable technical environment. The building construction was completed in March 2001, with internal fitting completed in April. Our first clients began moving into the facility in May 2001, in time for our grand opening ceremony. The Nassau Data Centre initially provides room for 80 racks of secure server space which can be managed by our technical staff or co-located by the client.

The facility was built to North American standards and includes the latest in power systems, cooling, network design and security. Construction techniques used were based on a solid concrete structure which has been designed to withstand wind speeds to 200 mph. The facility is located on high ground and is protected against flooding. Freeport, Grand Bahama will house our second data centre, a facility with over 20,000 square feet of space for more than 1,000 racks. With abundant land, excellent infrastructure, international air transit facilities (11,000 ft runway) and a responsive local government, the Freeport facility will provide ideal data support for clients who wish to establish a "bricks and mortar" presence on-island. The Freeport Data Centre will also provide the space and unlimited bandwidth required by global e-business clients.
